hi!

the new 0.2.7 release of midish is now available. This is a bug fix
release (so no new features).

midish prior to version 0.2.6 contains a bug that prevents key
aftertouch MIDI events (ie polyphonic aftertouch, or "kat" events)
from being properly saved; this may result in corrupted files.

the new 0.2.7 release fixes this bug and also contains code to
recover files saved with older releases. If you use hardware that
may generate "kat" events, it's recommended to switch to the new
release.

How to upgrade:

- if you're using a binary package, first uninstall the package
with the appripriate tool. ("apt-get" on debian/ubuntu,
"pkgtool" on slackware, "pkg_delete" on openbsd...)

 - fetch release 0.2.7 from:

	http://caoua.org/midish/midish-0.2.7.tar.gz

 - uncompress and install it:

	gunzip midish-0.2.7.tar.gz
	tar -xzf midish-0.2.7.tar
	cd midish-0.2.7
	make
	make install

note: slackware 0.2.7 package is already available.

 - corrupted files will be recovered transparently the next time
they are opened, so no other action is required.

cheers,
