I'm very new to midish. I have the Feb 04 tarball made and installed. The sample.sng plays--very nice. I have some .mid files I need to make minor edits in, but I get the error: .22 ';' or new line expected All the .mid files in question are downloaded from http://cyberhymnal.org and appear to have been created with Noteworthy Composer. On the other hand, smfplay has no problem playing the files. Thanks for what looks like a really cool application.
